The Scotts Company selected Group 4 to help bring a new perspective to gardening challenges that have turned consumers away from seed gardening and towards purchasing more expensive potted plants. For most would-be and many experienced gardeners it was guesswork with poor outcomes often the result.
Resolving engineering, materials and ease-of-use challenges through an iterative research and design process the Group 4 & Scotts team developed Miracle-Gro Gro-ables Seed Pod’s. Gro-ables provide an ideal growing environment with the exact combination of nutrients, enriched soil and seed in every easy-to-plant and compostable pod. Group 4 also developed the space efficient and protective packaging for safe shipping.
